Adam Merrett

Adam is head of the firm’s Forensic Accounting & Dispute Resolution team. He has substantial experience in providing written and oral evidence in civil and criminal cases and has often provided advice to the Crown Prosecution Service in cases of business fraud. He has specific expertise in cases relating to fraud, loss of profit, valuation of goodwill and dispute resolution including partners in professional practice.

In addition, Adam is responsible for the firm’s payroll and company secretarial departments. He also advises a wide range of businesses including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders across a variety of trades and professions. He has over 25 years experience in general practice accountancy work including preparation of financial and management accounts, financial, taxation and business advice.

Adam has been a partner in professional practice since 1992, joining Wilkins Kennedy 1997. He is a member of the Expert Witness Institute (MEWI), having successfully completed the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate accreditation scheme. He is also a member of the Academy of Experts (MAE), and is accredited by them as being a qualified dispute resolver (QDR) specialising in mediation.

Adam enjoys the outdoors and spends as much time as possible with his family walking his boisterous spaniels.
