Michael Bushell

Michael has been instrumental in establishing the practice within the local business community and his informal and friendly approach to the work is seen by many clients as a welcome change from the otherwise formal perception of the profession.

Michael's field of expertise includes 'lifetime' strategic tax planning with the emphasis on family companies and partnerships and private high net worth individuals. His background includes a period as a senior manager with the international accountants Coopers and Lybrand (now part of PriceWaterhouseCoopers). His overall experience includes business acquisitions and sales, management buyouts and shareholder disposals. Michael is also involved in the audit of PLC subsidiaries and associated companies.

Michael is a keen sportsman, taking a particular interest in golf, rugby and tennis. He enjoys country pursuits and is also a keen fair weather motorcyclist. Michael continues to maintain close involvement in the local community through links with the local schools and the Rotary Club. Michael spends as much of his spare time as possible with his family.
