Leading advisers Wilkins Kennedy oversee LPC Printing Ltd and the Midas Press Plc £11.5 million merger
Wilkins Kennedy, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, announced today that it acted as lead corporate adviser for due diligence in the successful merger of LPC Printing Ltd and The Midas Press Plc, creating a £11.5 million turnover printing giant in the south of England.
The Wilkins Kennedy team, led by partner John Natt, ACA, undertook financial due diligence on behalf of LPC Printing Ltd, which employs 47 staff and operates 24 hours a day from their factory and offices based in Southampton.
Award winning lithography printing firm Midas employs 78 people and operates 24 hours a day from a factory and offices in Farnborough.
The two firms operate in different markets and will continue to operate under their original names and service separate client bases. Both have a wide range of clients including print management companies and national and international blue chip organisations.
Nick Lee, managing director of LPC printing, will become managing director of both companies and Midas MD Paul Wells will become works director.
