The Right Worshipful Mayor of Reading Councillor Fred Pugh officially opens new Wilkins Kennedy office

On 20th May, over 60 local business people gathered in Reading to attend the official opening of the new Wilkins Kennedy Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers offices by The Right Worshipful Mayor of Reading Councillor Fred Pugh.

Guests included the Mayor and Mayoress of Reading and a wide range of businesses from the local area.

Wilkins Kennedy’s Reading branch, which has 2 partners and 9 members of staff, has moved to 92 London Street in Reading due to recent growth and the provision of new services for local businesses and individuals, in addition to the existing insolvency and corporate recovery services currently offered.

The new services at the Reading office will include: Audit and Assurance, Tax, Business & Advisory, Corporate Finance, Restructuring and Recovery, Forensic Accounting, Outsourced Services, Human Resources and Financial Management.

The new premises benefit from a more prominent, high street location, and are well situated, being only a few minutes walk from the Oracle centre. The offices are large enough to allow for further services expansion and benefit from adjoining car park facilities with client access.

Reading Insolvency Partner, John Kirkpatrick, says, “We were pleased to see so many of our friends, new contacts and clients at the new London Street office opening.

Our current clients are already taking advantage of our new extended range of accountancy and business advisory services on offer, and we look forward to building relationships with many new contacts in Reading and the surrounding area.”
