Wilkins Kennedy Partner raises nearly £4,000 for local Hampshire charity Rose Road in London Marathon

Tony Brown from Winchester accountancy and business services firm Wilkins Kennedy has raised £3,700 for local young person’s charity The Rose Road Association www.roseroad.org.uk after completing the London Marathon on Sunday in 4 hours 50 minutes.

All the money raised will be donated towards the Rose Road Association’s “Change My Life” campaign, which has been set up to raise £500,000 to assist children and young adults with profound and multiple disabilities, providing equipment, support, activities and respite care.

Having heard about the essential work of Southampton’s Rose Road Association through his work colleague and charity trustee Ian Talbot, Tony visited some of the children at one of the charity assemblies and immediately wanted to help to raise money and to make a difference.

Tony Brown, Business Services Partner in Winchester comments, “I would really like to thank my family, friends, clients and colleagues at Wilkins Kennedy for their support and generosity, this campaign will really help improve the lives of many local families, children and young people affected by disability”
