Wilkins Kennedy Solicitors Club WK Law Breakfast Briefing goes from strength to strength
On 19th May 2011, over 30 law firms from the Surrey, Middlesex, Hampshire and Berkshire regions gathered at the third Wilkins Kennedy WK Law Breakfast Briefing event at Foxhills in Surrey, to hear experts from Wilkins Kennedy Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers in Egham Heathrow and Guildford discuss a wide variety of current issues facing solicitors.
The WK Solicitors Club was launched in November 2010 and following positive feedback from attendees has been rolled out into a series of regular events, all CPD accredited with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
The May breakfast briefing, conducted by Tommy White, Jemima Jones, Jeremy Newman and Matthew Hall, covered: a budget update, tax planning, employment related securities, regulatory reporting requirements and a solicitors accounts rules update, together with a question and answer session.
Kevin Walmsley, managing partner at the Wilkins Kennedy Egham Heathrow office, commented: ”The feedback from the delegates after the first and subsequent breakfast briefings has been so positive and favourable, and the increased attendance is testimony to the provision that is being met for quality CPD and networking in a structured and professional manner.”

The next WK Law Breakfast Briefing will be on Wednesday 19th October at Foxhills, and will cover a solicitors accounts rules update, a brief tax update, LLP conversion and VAT.
