In May 2008 Finn-Kelcey & Chapman merged with Top 30 firm Wilkins Kennedy, trading in Ashford as WK Finn-Kelcey.
WK Finn-Kelcey was originally founded by Samuel Foster, an Incorporated Accountant practising in Ashford in the 1920s. Foster formed a partnership with Richard Finn-Kelcey, a qualified Chartered Accountant who came to Ashford n 1936. In 1977 negotiations were completed with a Firm of Chartered Accountants in Folkestone who operated as George Chapman and Co. The two Firms combined under a new name of Finn-Kelcey and Chapman. In 1982 Reynolds and Lane amalgamated into Finn-Kelcey and Chapman and in 1996 Hugh Ellison merged his Practice with Finn-Kelcey and Chapman.
Wilkins Kennedy was originally established in 1882 in Southend-on-Sea. Over the past 125 years the firm has expanded to include 13 offices in the South East of England and one in the Falkland Islands.
