Hugh Summerfield

Hugh became a partner of the firm in 1984 having trained with Ernst & Young. His background of family orientated activities combined with the technical expertise gained in London allows him to identify the key salient problems experienced by clients and to focus on their resolution. This has involved management buyouts, company disposals and strategic long term business planning, which suits his approach of working very closely with clients in their key decision making processes.

In common with his farming background, Hugh is hard working and enthusiastic, extending his efforts to the local business community and charitable organisations.

He enjoys countryside sporting activities, particularly clay pigeon and pheasant shooting.
