Jeremy is a tax specialist working with a variety of the firm’s owner managed businesses.
He has substantial expertise in a broad range of corporate taxation matters with particular emphasis on corporate tax structuring, tax considerations in mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and employee incentive schemes.
He also has expertise in inward investment planning and has in the past written guides to setting up a business in the UK.
In addition to his tax expertise, Jeremy is a member of the firm’s Forensic Accounting Team. He has compiled several expert reports and provided both written and oral evidence in civil and criminal cases. His experience includes cases relating to: loss of earnings; business valuations, fraudulent trading, money laundering and drug trafficking, fraudulent VAT evasion and professional negligence.
Jeremy is a member of the Expert Witness Institute, the Academy of Experts and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
His hobbies include reading, cookery and history; he serves as a trustee of two local charities and is the treasurer of one.
