John has over 15 years experience in providing audit and assurance services to a wide range of Charity and Not-for-Profit clients. He currently advises national charities, independent schools, trade federations and membership bodies. As Head of the firm’s Charity and Not-for-Profit Group, John is responsible for ensuring that clients and staff remain abreast of key sector developments and receive appropriate technical training.
John is a member of The Charity & Voluntary Sector Group of the ICAEW and the Charity Finance Directors’ Group (CFDG). He contributes to the firm’s Charity Newsletter on matters affecting this sector and provides training courses on technical issues. He is also an honorary auditor/examiner to a number of local charities.
In addition to his Charity portfolio, John works with a number of the firm’s owner managed clients, advising on audit and business matters.
John’s interests include sailing, golfing and supporting the arts.
