Marketing Executive - Egham
Wilkins Kennedy is looking to recruit a Marketing Executive to
provide broad marketing and business development support to its network
of offices across London and the South. Reporting to the Marketing
Director, you will responsible for identifying new business
opportunities, planning, developing and implementing marketing campaigns
across the full marketing mix, and working with Partners to advise on
marketing strategy and best practice.
This role will suit an
ambitious Marketing Executive with some previous professional services
experience, and the ability to provide consistent levels of excellent
internal client service
Location: Egham based with regular travel to other locations
Reporting to Marketing Director
Working with Regional Head of Marketing Partner and Director of Marketing
The Role
This is a broad marketing and business development role and day to day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Proactively encourage and support involvement in marketing activities by clearly communicating the value and rationale of various active or proposed marketing strategies and initiatives;
- Proactively identify weaknesses, opportunities and strengths that could have an impact on the marketing strategies of the firm;
- Provide suggestions for the development, implementation and enhancement of marketing initiatives that fit within the firm's marketing objectives;
- Liaise with the marketing staff in the other offices to ensure that there is consistency and coordination of all marketing efforts;
- Assist with the planning and coordination of all aspects of marketing including, events, media relations and business development;
- Coordinate the implementation of strategies and policies that have been created to enhance marketing efforts;
- General marketing admin (processing invoices, data entry, trip schedules and bookings, marketing material inventory and distribution, event management, etc); and
- Advising on and creating collateral – capability documents, marketing materials, presentations, online web content, social media understanding etc.
Job Specification
- Acting at the first point of contact for all partners and managers with regards to all related marketing and BD queries, to help them increase their overall contribution to the BD effort;
- Project managing the implementation of campaigns and events that generate work and raise the profile of the firm, from idea generation through to execution;
- Assuming responsibility and contributing to projects to support the Marketing / BD infrastructure within the firm;
- Carry out any other duties which may from time to time be required.
Skills and Attributes
The successful individual will be a team player who is also capable of working independently and able to influence all levels of staff. They will be highly motivated organised individual with excellent communication skills.
Their skills and experience will include:
- Marketing degree or other relevant marketing qualification
- Undertake
basic drafting and editing of copy for marketing material, including
creating headlinesand messages to provide impact and clarity
- Ability to manage internal client demands and work to tight deadlines, whilst providing an excellent level of internal client service.
- 3 years+ marketing experience in a professional services firm
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
