Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 Michael has over 20 years’ experience within the accountancy profession. He has been responsible for running the firm’s Romsey Office since 1993 and now also heads the Business Service Division.
As well as assisting clients with all compliance issues Michael specialises in providing financial advice and tax planning services to owner managed businesses, both corporate and personal, across a variety of industries. Michael has particular expertise in matters relating to professional partnership, companies with the construction industry, and high street retailers.
Michael is especially interested in providing the support and assistance required by clients wishing to expand their business by taking a personal interest in its development and by providing the practical advice required in order to help them to achieve their business goals. He has wide experience in assisting clients with the preparation of their business plans and preparing the reports often requested by banks and other potential investors. He is also involved in assisting businesses in raising finance and has served on various business link committees.
Outside of work Michael's pastimes include golf, football and tenpin bowling.
