Simon Murrells joined Wilkins Kennedy in 2003 and is a Sage Business Partner, forming part of the outsourced services team at the Winchester office.
The primary focus of his client facing technical role is to oversee the installation, training and system support of Sage Accounting systems across over 200 payroll clients throughout the UK, and managing the internal support requirements of 11 Wilkins Kennedy offices
Simon started his career at Middleton and Ashcroft Chartered Accountants in Horsham. He transferred to a firm in Chicago in the United States and spent three years at Clarkson & Hyde before becoming a self-employed accredited practitioner and then accepted a position at Wilkins Kennedy in Winchester.
With over 18 years experience of Sage Accounting systems, Simon is adept at dealing with Sage process efficiency management issues, and has in depth knowledge and expertise regarding complex data extraction and extensive systems mapping and integration.
Ongoing client servicing requirements include: software upgrades, systems monitoring, accounting regulations updating, advanced troubleshooting, and bespoke face to face and webinar training updates.
