Must Attend Workshop for Academies
We are delighted to invite you to a workshop to discuss the accounting issues facing academies as separate legal entities compared to the accounting principles followed by schools. We will consider issues such as:
- Opening balances on conversion
- FRS17 – Pension Fund
- Fixed assets and property valuation
- Accruals accounting
- Fund accounting
- Year-end procedures
The workshop will include a short presentation followed by an informal discussion, providing attendees with an opportunity to ask questions and discuss experiences.
