Governance has increasingly come under the spotlight in the voluntary sector. The requirement to include a statement on the efficiency of your governance and related policies in the Summary Information Return, together with the Charity Commission’s focus on governance in its inspections means that it is essential to have formal governance policies, protocols and reviews in place.

We regularly conduct reviews to evaluate existing governance policies and procedures and compare these to the guidelines put forward by the Charity Commission.

Strategic Planning

A formal strategic plan is an important guide for trustees and those managing charities. it helps keep you focused on your objectives and the path you are taking to achieve these. Moreover, SORP 2005 requires that you include details of your strategic objectives and how you intend achieving them.
