Internal Audit Assurance
Conducting interim reviews of your organisation’s systems of governance, risk management and internal control is important.
We work with clients to:
- establish risks in the areas being reviewed
- establish the controls in place to address those risks and review their adequacy
- check whether the FSA’s regulations covering financial requirements are being followed
- make recommendations where weaknesses or inefficiencies are observed.
In addition to the above we can also provide Assurance Reports on internal controls in service organisations in accordance with AAF 01/06, where third parties may require additional assurance concerning a service organisation with which they are considering working.
We follow ethical guidelines in respect of independence when considering whether or not we are able to provide internal audit services to statutory audit clients.
