Dispute Resolution

Alternative dispute resolution is being increasingly encouraged by the Courts and used by business. Many disputes can be settled through expert determination thus eliminating the need to go to court.

Our forensic team has considerable knowledge and experience in mediation and arbitration processes and we have helped to achieve speedy and cost effective results across a varied range of cases.

We adopt a tried and tested methodology but retain the flexibility to respond to the unique requirements of each case.

Our approach:

Listen: we listen to you, study all available information, discuss the outline of the case and make an initial assessment on whether it is appropriate for us to be involved.
Research: we obtain any further information and documentation deemed necessary. We study and interpret the facts of the case, assisting where appropriate on a decision going forward.
Advice: as part of our initial involvement we may suggest mediation or, if appropriate, a Part 36 offer even where this action may result in our team not being appointed
Review: we provide an initial assessment and a formal report, where necessary, which can be used in negotiating a settlement or for disclosure in court
Witness: we provide an accredited expert witness, familiar with court proceedings, to support our findings. We will consult with solicitors and counsel at all stages of the legal process and give evidence where required.
