Local businesses are the primary creators of employment and wealth in our society. By enabling owners and managers to build and run better businesses, we can contribute to greater prosperity and opportunity for all.
Each of our offices plays an active role in local business life – and by helping our businesses, we also help our communities.
However, our community involvement goes much further. We are also a local employer, and our staff care deeply about helping their own communities by offering their personal collective time and skills.
Although we are one of the UK’s larger accountancy firms, we believe strongly in acting locally – particularly when it comes to community support.
Our offices support local charities, and we encourage all our staff give something back to their community through volunteering, fundraising and supporting community initiatives.
Creating an environment free of discrimination, our staff are able to reach their full potential
We support equal opportunity in the workplace. We strive to create an environment free from any form of discrimination in which all our staff are encouraged and able to reach their full potential.
We also encourage our staff to give back to the communities in which they live and work. As a firm we support a number of charitable institutions and are actively involved in contributing our time and skills to a vast number of community projects.
Gender Pay Gap Reporting
Employers with more than 250 employees are legally required to publish their gender pay gap. Gender pay gap reporting is not about equal pay for men and women doing the same work – we are an equal pay employer, but still have a gender pay gap.
It is about creating transparency of pay, identifying areas where gender imbalances exist and implementing appropriate remedial measures. As a firm that is fully committed to equality of opportunity, we aim to employ the best people and to ensure that all employees are able to contribute to their maximum potential irrespective of gender, race, ethnic or national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation or age.
