A leading accountancy firm has announced a trio of winners following their support of the Craft Market and Open Day at Hertford Castle.
Accountants Wilkins Kennedy, which acts for a number of businesses in the Hertfordshire region, sponsored the event as part of a number of appearances locally which support local community projects. The Craft Market and Open Day at Hertford Castle on Sunday 6 May was the finale event of Wilkins Kennedy’s month long sponsorship of the Hertford Arts Festival, both organised by Hertford Town Council.
Staff from Wilkins Kennedy Hertford, which is based on Ware Road, had a stall at the Craft Market where visitors could have access to expert knowledge and advice in relation to accounting matters, as well as a colouring competition for the kids and a “guess the number of jellybeans in the jar”.
The winners of the colouring competition were 8-year-old Olivia Ayres and 2-and-a-half-year-old Flynn Whatmore who each won an impressive hamper of toys, games and other goodies. Local Hertford girl, Imogen Jones, aged 10 was the winner of the Jelly Bean competition with her guess of 4,200 and got to take the beans home as her prize.
Tim Croft, Managing Partner for Wilkins Kennedy’s Hertford office, said: “We have sponsored the Arts Festival for a number of years, which runs for a month over April and May. As a firm we frequently get involved in several community-led projects, and as we work for a number of individuals and businesses in the area, we see this as a great opportunity to interact with them. My congratulations go to the winners of our competitions!”
