Christian joined Wilkins Kennedy in 2000, after having read international business at Plymouth University and Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Germany. After training as a chartered accountant (ICAEW) with the firm, Christian moved to Grant Thornton UK LLP’s London office in 2005 and remained there for ten years, latterly working as a senior audit manager within their audit team. During that time, Christian gained significant experience in co-ordinating international audit engagements, including many companies listed on the London AIM stock exchange. Christian also completed a two year secondment advising companies on how to resolve complex financial reporting issues as well as supporting a number of companies through their IPOs.
Christian returned to Wilkins Kennedy as an audit director in 2015. He brings to the firm a wealth of experience on larger corporate engagements and manages a number of the firm’s larger audit assignments. Christian is a member of the firm’s technology sector group and advises a number of tech companies from start-ups to fully established organisations.
Christian also provides financial reporting advice to companies which prepare their financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards and he holds a diploma in international financial reporting (ACCA). Christian is also a member of the ICAEW’s Financial Reporting and Audit Faculties.
