Ian’s career in accountancy spans some thirty years, having qualified at Wilkins Kennedy in 1986.
Ian’s diverse portfolio includes owner managed businesses, SMEs and companies owned by listed parents. His meticulous approach to business requirements enables him to support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, as well as offering a pragmatic approach to auditing, regulation, financial planning and business strategy. Ian’s sector expertise spans the worlds of property management, agriculture and pension schemes.
Ian has a wealth of farming knowledge, having lived on a farm for a number of years. He draws on this experience when advising his agricultural clients on all aspects of their business affairs.
Ian is a Member of the ICAEW Audit Faculty and Farming Group. In addition, he is a governor of his local primary school, chairing its finance and personnel committees.
In his spare time, Ian is a keen football, rugby, and cricket supporter.
