Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the accountancy profession, having begun his career at Jordon Brookes where he trained and qualified; he also spent time at a large London firm. In 2007, following the merger of Jordon Brookes into Wilkins Kennedy, Ian became a Partner of the firm. He became the Managing Partner for Wilkins Kennedy’s Winchester and Romsey offices in 2010.
Ian works with a wide range of clients, from individuals, owner managed businesses and partnerships, through to large corporate groups. Working collaboratively, Ian supports his clients with financial and taxation planning, providing advice to help them fulfil their business objectives and aspirations. Ian has broad sector experience, with particular expertise in working within the property and construction, solicitors, retail and care home industries.
Ian is a member of the Solicitors Special Interest Group, the firm’s property and construction group, and sits on the Wilkins Kennedy Finance Committee.
Ian is a keen golfer and avid fan of Southampton Football Club. He also appreciates spending as much time as possible with his family. Ian is a very active supporter of the Rosewood School, run by the Rose Road Association. Rose Road is a charity based in Southampton which provides high quality services for young people with profound learning disabilities.
