Tim has over 30 years’ experience in accountancy, having trained in commerce before moving to a practice environment. He joined Wilkins Kennedy in 1999 and become a partner of the firm in 2004.
Tim has a diverse client portfolio, supporting owner managed businesses, SMEs, larger companies, and groups with a range of services from audit, compliance, tax planning and business advice. His time in commerce has given him a solid understanding of, and empathy with the problems faced by businesses. Tim works collaboratively with businesses and his enthusiasm to help business develop, grow and to become more profitable is much valued by many of his clients who see him as a key advisor in achieving their goals. His experience spans a number of sectors, with particular expertise in property and construction.
Tim is a member of ICAEW Tax Faculty, ICAEW Audit Faculty, Property & Construction and Public Sector groups.
Tim has a wide range of interests including the City of London; he is a Court Assistant of the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers and a former Chairman of the Ward of Cordwainer Club. Tim is an accomplished rower, having previously represented England and the GB. He also enjoys cooking and eating the results.
