Privacy notices in relation to Insolvency Assignments

The following information is to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations. The privacy notices set out the information Wilkins Kennedy LLP Restructuring and Recovery (“the Practice”) holds about clients, the purpose for which this data is held and the lawful basis on which it is held. 

There are separate notices which cover three different categories or work carried out by the Practice as Insolvency Practitioners:

Directors, shareholders and owners of insolvent businesses. This notice sets out the information the Practice holds about corporate clients in the period leading up to a formal appointment as Liquidator, Administrator or Supervisor of a Company Voluntary Arrangement. 

Debt advice and personal insolvency clients, i.e. individuals in Bankruptcy, individuals seeking an Individual Voluntary Arrangement or general debt advice.

Stakeholders privacy notice. This document sets out the policy of the Practice on the protection of information relating to creditors, book debtors, employees and other stakeholders of insolvent (or solvent) entities whose affairs the Practice is administering.
